2000 Ranger - Mid rear frame repair behind leaf spring hanger

2000 Ranger XLT 4x4 - The driver side rear frame section cracked just behind the leaf spring hanger. I decided to use the Rust Buster bracket and repair both the driver side and passenger side while I had it apart. The shape of the bracket provided long welding runs. In the picture of the passenger side, you can see the cracked driver side frame in the background. (The cross member was rusted out so it and the gas tank are removed, but that is not necessary if just adding the brackets.) The holes in the bracket did not lineup perfectly, but after dry fitting the plate, I marked what material need to be removed (see picture). A little plasm cutting and it was ready to go. After installation and welding, I covered it all with the Total Protection Rust Cover Paint. Looks so good, I hate to put the bed back on!
