Worked very well to repair our 98. Vehicle prep and product installation was basically as simple as the installation video shows. Back in operation thanks to Rust Buster!!!
I have a 2006 Colorado Crew Cab with the usual driver side frame rust through issue (thanks to Ohio's use of salt on roads). The truck is great otherwise and has a lot of life left in it. I installed the center and front sections. The instructions (videos) are excellent and very thorough. The parts fit great and are obviously well engineered. The shipping and communication was excellent. RustBuster is a top notch company that knows their business. I am thrilled to have my truck back on the road.
I’m a retired auto service technician. I worked on Lexus/Toyota the last 32 years of my career. If Toyota had had this quality steel in their frames,I wouldn’t have to be making these repairs. Great quality and price.

The hook for the fuel tank strap is too shallow and will require trimming the top of the strap. Other than this it was a very straight forward and simple install.
These repair kits are no joke! They are made with high quality steel and have very nice welds. Everything was cut and bent to fit the frame perfectly. I am very pleased to see a high attention to detail with their products.

We do a lot of sandblasting & rust repair. These crossmembers are a direct replacement, cut the old out & weld the new in. All the kits cover the common rotted areas on the truck. WIthout these Chevy owners would be in trouble.
Gotta say my frame cracked on my 98 and got this and it’s solid and it fits perfectly
When I watched the video I thought I needed to take apart the bed and lift it up. Not the case. Was able to install by just taking off the wheel! Thanks.
Repair over the axle frame..fit great and I did it with the bed on and gas tank in the truck. Do this at your own risk. 2 1/2 hours. I think I have a new business model. Thank you for producing these much needed parts
