I ordered the crossmember that goes over the tank on an 01 Silverado, I was really surprised, not only the quality of the welds but the bends were clean and precise. I set it over top of the old one and thought "DAMN, I think this just might fit", once I got the other work done and the old cross member removed it really did fit! The holes lined up perfectly, even the gas tank bracket was in the right place! Just be advised, make sure to use the long gold colored bolt for the gas tank strap, it is a different thread pitch than the OEM. I wish all aftermarket parts fit like this! I highly recommend.

I have a 2006 Colorado Crew Cab with the usual driver side frame rust through issue (thanks to Ohio's use of salt on roads). The truck is great otherwise and has a lot of life left in it. I installed the center and front sections. The instructions (videos) are excellent and very thorough. The parts fit great and are obviously well engineered. The hook for the fuel tank strap is too shallow and will require trimming the top of the strap. Other than this it was a very straight forward and simple install.

We do a lot of sandblasting & rust repair. These crossmembers are a direct replacement, cut the old out & weld the new in. All the kits cover the common rotted areas on the truck. WIthout these Chevy owners would be in trouble.

Repair over the axle frame..fit great and I did it with the bed on and gas tank in the truck. Do this at your own risk. 2 1/2 hours. I think I have a new business model. Thank you for producing these much needed parts
