I bought the mid frame section for my 2wd 1500 I knew the piece was for 4wd I ended up reworking to fit it took a while to get it right but I’m happy with it. Sure would be nice if they made it for 2wd cause the driver side holds all the salt with the gas tank up against it.
These frame sections are great- excellent thickness and build quality. perfect fit, I appreciate that they come with pre drilled drain holes and LCA/ UCA hardware. dont cheap out, buying a Chinese version from amazon, its a big job and a critical structural component of the vehicle. the price of these is well worth it. My only complaint is that on the passenger side, there doesn't seem to be a place to mount. the factory muffler hanger, so I'll have to figure that out- otherwise, nothing but good things to say

Needed to repair the rear of my 1977 CJ5. This setup is probably the thickest metal on the thing now. Don't hate too much on thr welds done with a old linclon electric weld pac 120v fluxcore .035 wire popping breakers after 1" of welding. If I split thing in half I'll let everyone know. Lol
I purchased 2 forward truck bed supports from Rust Buster, and was very satisfied the product was built stronger than what the factory had put on, I highly recommend buying any products from them, you won't be disappointed
My 2009 Tacoma TRD had its frame supposedly 'fixed' by Toyota in 2017 but the rust issue reared its head again. This time my trusted mechanic suggested Rust Buster. I refurbished both center parts of the frame. They seemed a bit shorter than what I imagined but my mechanic genius masterfully used them to give my Taco a further life. Before using the parts, he air hammered te entire frame of residual rust and completely re-undercoated the entire frame.
Had common problem on Chevrolet frame in front behind passenger wheel, quality of this product was fantastic, only issue I had was that this frame patch piece wouldn’t fit in full without removing the torsion bar assembly. Had to remove half to install, then install second half. Ended up very well reinforced

Had no idea this cross member was even being reproduced, but glad I found rust busters! Very similar to the stock piece but much heavier made. Will definitely buy more products from rust busters!
This was my first experience with Rust Busters and my buddys rotted out Colorado.
Repair is Straight forward, cut out the trash and weld in new solid replacement panels.
Would recommend to anyone trying to get a few more years out of their trucks.
