The Rear Control Arm Crossmember on 1996-2002 Toyota 4Runners is prone to cracking over time in the center where it supports the Fuel Tank.  Not an ideal situation for such an important structural piece of the frame considering it also houses the aforementioned Upper Control Arm Brackets along with the Evap Canister Support Bracket.  When this breaks, it leaves your 4Runner undrivable.  Of course, that's where we come in. Happy with the results so far; should last to the end of life

I had this installed on a 1998 Toyota 4Runner. As far as quality goes, I was satisfied and the price was reasonable. It didn't seem cheap and the fitment seemed accurate. A testament to this is the shop that installed it had no complaints and did a wonderful job. There were several shops that turned down the work due to the challenge. It's important to watch the video that is posted and realize that this is hard to negotiate into place without separating the body from the frame. I called several shops before one decided they could do it by partially separating the two and cutting off less than an inch off the end of the pipe. I recommend the product but make sure someone can do the work. Thank you for posting the video with the product. I shared it with the shops and it helped me navigate who could do the work saving me time and money.
