Part Premiere: RB2006-Rear Crossmember

Introducing our Rear Crossmember (RB2006) for your YJ Wrangler.

Unless your YJ had an aftermarket rear bumper installed, the YJ Wrangler origianlly came from the factory with its rear crossmember completely exposed to the elements.  Nothing but painted steel contending with Mother Nature.  And if your vehicle was ever used for trail riding, chances are a rock or tree has compromised that seal, causing rust to make quick work of its integrity.

Our latest Rear Crossmember comes measured to factory specifications ensuring that its installation goes without a hitch.  Moreover, since this section is so exposed, replacing it allows for plenty of room for preparation and preventative measures such as primer and paint, promoting its lifespan.

And while you’re back there with repairs, consider also replacing the adjacent shackle mounts with our Rear Shackle Mount Sections (RB2002L & RB2002R).  Doing so will ensure that rust from more worn sections doesn’t pollute your newly replaced crossmember.
