Introducing our Center Frame Skid Plate Mount (RB2014L & RB2014R) for your YJ Wrangler.

The center frame section of nearly every vehicle is the lowest point.  Additionally, frames of nearly every vehicle come with a series of holes used to realign it in the event of an accident.  This means debris and water inevitably gets trapped inside, resting inside the center frame.  Jeep’s YJ Wrangler is no different and given its age spells deep rooted rust complications.

The center frame section on a YJ holds the vehicle’s skid plate, a heavy piece of solid steel, and combined with the rust mentioned earlier, we often find the skid plate pulling itself off of the frame.  This is a major problem because the skid plate secures the vehicle’s transmission and transfer case.

Our Center Frame Skid Plate Mount allows you to start fresh and add some much needed rigidity back into your rig.  We even throw in the bolts, nuts, and washers needed to re-secure your skid plate.
